About Us

Cathedral Close Cares is a partnership among the seven neighboring institutions—Washington National Cathedral, St. Albans School, National Cathedral School, Beauvoir, the Episcopal Diocese of Washington, the Protestant Episcopal Cathedral Foundation and St. Alban’s Parish—to foster discussion and promote action concerning service, justice and unity.

Join in as we partner with our Cathedral Close neighbors to bring students and staff together with our worshipping community to support those most in need.

Upcoming Opportunities

Season of Giving 2022

Due to the hardships of the ongoing pandemic, it is more vital than ever to support our neighbors this holiday season. Working with D.C.-area partners, Cathedral Close Cares will provide over 1400 Thanksgiving meals and 300 Christmas gifts to families in need.

With so many struggling financially, the collaboration of our Cathedral Close community will make a stronger impact to help our neighbors —and you can help! Your direct donation supports this project and our outreach to families and communities throughout the area.
