As a house of prayer for all people, this Cathedral aims to serve as a sacred space where the nation can come together at times of both joy and sorrow.

Although we have discontinued monthly COVID-19 memorial services, we remain with you in grieving the lives lost to the coronavirus pandemic, and we share the pain of anxiety and loss in these uncertain times.

A Prayer for Those Who Mourn

O God, whose mercies cannot be numbered:

Accept our prayers on behalf of your servants who have died from the coronavirus, often alone without the comfort of family and friends or loving embrace. Give them your peace and grant them an entrance into the land of light and joy, in the fellowship of your saints; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen.
